Referring Affiliate Program FAQ

What is the WebWizard Hosting Affiliate Program?

The WebWizard Hosting Affiliate Program allows eligible participants to earn commissions by referring new customers to WebWizard Hosting. It's our way of thanking people who help spread the word about our services.

Participation is subject to our Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions and our Terms of Service.

How much can I earn?

The current program offers a 15% commission on qualifying subscription payments made by customers referred through your affiliate link. This may include the customer's initial subscription payment and qualifying renewals, subject to the applicable program rules and any agreement governing your participation.

If a customer uses a promotion or discount, the commission is calculated using the amount the customer actually paid, rather than the regular undiscounted price.

Commission rates, eligibility requirements, and future commission opportunities are subject to the applicable Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions. Please review those terms for information about program changes and termination.

Which services qualify?

Commissions apply to qualifying subscription packages only. Other products, services, fees, or transactions may be excluded under the applicable program rules.

Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?

There is currently no set limit on the number of eligible referrals you may make. All referrals must comply with the Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions.

Does it cost anything to join?

No. There is currently no fee to participate in the affiliate program.

How do I sign up?

Log in to your WebWizard Hosting Client Area, click Affiliates in the top menu, and select Activate Affiliate Account. If the program is available to your account, your affiliate ID and referral link will be displayed.

Where do I find my referral link?

Log in to your Client Area and click Affiliates in the top menu. Your unique referral link appears in the affiliate area. Copy the complete link and share it with people who may be interested in our services.

How are referrals tracked?

When someone clicks your referral link, tracking technology may be used to associate their visit or subsequent qualifying purchase with your affiliate account. Tracking can be affected by browser settings, privacy controls, device changes, cookie deletion, or other technical limitations. A click does not guarantee that a referral will be recorded or that a commission will be earned.

How can I help make sure my referrals are counted?

Ask potential customers to use your complete affiliate link when visiting and signing up. Avoid modifying the link or using redirects that may interfere with tracking. If someone opens your link in one browser or app but signs up in another, ask them to open your link again in the browser they use to register.

These steps may help, but referral tracking is not guaranteed.

My referral signed up but doesn't show in my account. What should I do?

Open a support ticket and provide the available details, such as the approximate signup date, the subscription purchased, and any relevant referral information. Please do not send another customer's sensitive personal or payment information.

Our team will review the information and determine whether the referral qualifies under the applicable program rules. Manual review does not guarantee that a referral or commission will be approved. Payments made before a referral is recorded or approved will not automatically qualify for retroactive commissions.

I've already told people about WebWizard Hosting. Can I get credit for them?

Commissions generally apply to eligible customers who are attributed to your affiliate account in accordance with the program rules. Previous recommendations or existing customers do not automatically qualify for commissions. Contact support if you believe a referral was incorrectly attributed; any adjustment is subject to review and approval under the applicable terms.

Why is there a Commissions Pending Maturation balance and an Available Commissions Balance?

A qualifying commission may initially appear under Commissions Pending Maturation. Under the current process, it remains pending for approximately one day. If the applicable eligibility conditions are satisfied when that period ends, it may move to your Available Commissions Balance.

A pending amount is not a guarantee of payment. All commissions remain subject to the applicable eligibility, verification, cancellation, refund, chargeback, and payment rules.

What happens if my referral cancels, gets suspended, or files a chargeback?

A commission may be withheld, adjusted, or reversed when the underlying transaction is canceled, refunded, charged back, reversed, or otherwise determined to be ineligible under the applicable program rules. Under the current process, a subscription that is canceled or suspended before the pending period ends may cause the related pending commission to be removed.

Any adjustment will be handled in accordance with the applicable terms and law.

How do I get paid?

Under the current process, an affiliate may request a withdrawal when their Available Commissions Balance reaches $250. The Request Withdrawal button in the Affiliates area submits a support ticket for review. Please submit one request and respond to the resulting ticket with your requested payment details.

Venmo is the current standard payout method. Other methods may be considered by prior approval. Payment requests are reviewed and processed subject to verification, applicable program rules, and legal requirements. A displayed balance or submitted request does not guarantee immediate payment.

Can I use my commissions toward my own subscription?

You may request that an eligible available commission balance be applied as a credit toward your own WebWizard Hosting subscription. Open a support ticket to request this option. Approval and application of the credit are subject to the applicable program rules and account requirements.

Can I track my referrals and earnings?

Your Affiliates page displays available tracking information, which may include clicks, signups, conversion rates, pending commissions, available balance, and total amounts withdrawn. The referrals list may show a customer's signup date, subscription, estimated commission, and current service status.

Displayed information may be estimates and may not reflect a final approved commission or payment.

Why is the commission in my referrals list different from what I received?

The commission displayed in the referrals list may be an estimate based on the regular subscription price. The actual commission, if eligible, is calculated according to the applicable rules and the amount the customer paid. Discounts, refunds, reversals, and other adjustments may affect the final amount.

Review your commission balances and contact support if you believe there is an error.

Why don't I see renewal commissions in my referrals list?

The referrals list may display each referred customer only once rather than listing every renewal as a separate entry. Check your commission balances and transaction information for available details. If you believe a qualifying payment has not been credited, open a support ticket for review.

Why does my referrals list show a canceled or suspended service?

The referrals list may retain a record of a signup after the associated service is canceled or suspended. A listing is not proof that a commission was approved or paid. Commission eligibility is determined under the applicable program rules.

Can I see who signed up through my link?

Customer information is limited to protect privacy. The affiliate area may not display names or contact details for referred customers. Please do not attempt to obtain or disclose customer information without authorization. For further details, review our Privacy Policy.

Can I refer myself or create extra accounts?

No. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, manipulated signups, and other attempts to obtain commissions improperly are not eligible. WebWizard Hosting may review and reject referrals or commissions that do not comply with the applicable terms.

What are some good ways to share my link?

You may share your referral link through appropriate personal communications, websites, or promotional materials, provided your activities comply with applicable law and the Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions.

When required, clearly disclose your material relationship with WebWizard Hosting and the possibility of earning a commission from referrals.

Where am I allowed to share my link?

You must comply with applicable advertising, marketing, privacy, consumer-protection, and anti-spam laws. Unsolicited bulk email, deceptive promotions, misleading claims, unauthorized use of branding, and other prohibited conduct are not permitted. Violations may result in referral rejection, suspension, or termination, subject to applicable terms and law.

How can I help my referred customers with support questions?

Direct customers to our Knowledgebase for self-service help or ask them to open a support ticket so our team can assist them directly. Affiliates should not promise specific service outcomes, prices, features, or support results on behalf of WebWizard Hosting unless expressly authorized.

Can the program terms or commission rates change?

WebWizard Hosting may revise, suspend, or discontinue the Affiliate Program, including its commission rates, eligibility rules, and payment procedures, subject to applicable law and any existing contractual obligations.

Changes will be communicated through the website, affiliate account, email, or other reasonable means when appropriate or legally required. Changes take effect on the stated effective date, subject to applicable notice or consent requirements.

Changes to the program do not automatically eliminate commissions or other rights that have already been earned or are otherwise owed under an applicable agreement or law. If you do not agree to revised terms, you may discontinue participation, subject to any applicable obligations concerning previously earned commissions.

For complete details, review the Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions.

Can WebWizard Hosting suspend or terminate my affiliate account?

WebWizard Hosting may suspend or terminate an affiliate account or discontinue the Affiliate Program, with or without cause or prior notice, to the extent permitted by applicable law and any applicable agreement.

Reasons may include violations of the program terms, fraudulent or abusive activity, misleading promotions, misuse of affiliate links, inactivity, or other conduct that may harm WebWizard Hosting, its customers, or its business interests.

Upon suspension or termination, affiliate links may be disabled and access to the affiliate area may be revoked. The affiliate must stop representing themselves as an active affiliate and discontinue use of affiliate links and any promotional materials or branding they are no longer authorized to use.

Account suspension, termination, or deletion does not by itself eliminate valid commissions already earned or other rights that must be honored under the applicable agreement or law. Eligibility for commissions on renewals or other transactions occurring after termination will be determined by the applicable agreement and any lawful termination provisions. A change to this FAQ alone does not override an existing agreement.

Are my commissions taxable?

Affiliate commissions may constitute taxable income, and affiliates are responsible for meeting their own tax obligations. WebWizard Hosting may request a completed Form W-9 or other tax documentation when reasonably necessary or legally required.

WebWizard Hosting will issue Form 1099-NEC or another applicable information return when required by federal or state law. Reporting rules may vary based on the tax year, recipient, payment method, and nature of the transaction. A reporting threshold does not determine whether income is taxable, and the absence of a tax form does not necessarily mean income is exempt from reporting.

WebWizard Hosting cannot provide individual tax advice. Affiliates should consult a qualified tax professional with questions about their own circumstances.

What should I do if I have a question that isn't answered here?
