- Connect External Storage: Plug your USB drive into your Android TV box or Fire TV device.
- Format the Drive (if needed): Ensure the drive is formatted to a compatible file system, such as FAT32 or exFAT.
- Open HawkTV: Launch the HawkTV app on your device.
- Navigate to Recording Settings: From the main menu, go to Settings > Other > Recordings.
- Select a Folder:
- Click on the current folder path.
- Choose the System Picker to browse available storage locations.
- If prompted, allow HawkTV to access the storage.
- Click on the current folder path.
- Create a New Folder (Recommended): Navigate to your connected USB drive and create a new folder (e.g., "My Recordings") to store your recordings.
- Confirm the Folder: Select your newly created folder and confirm that it is selected for use.
- Start Recording: Your recordings will now be directed to the external storage device.
